Earlier, some of these businesses have been among the largest producers of waste and polluted the atmosphere so it is inspiring to see a shift in consumer awareness, which has now led these corporate giants to think from an ecological perspective.

Back in the year 2015, IKEA came up with a plan that was to progress the sustainability of the company by not just investing in the renewable sources of energy, but also using it for the company’s stores and offices. Currently, IKEA stores carry around 342,000 solar panels that play a part in their consumption of energy.

The company is also committed to selling LED bulbs is an initiative to promote green living among their customers who they believe will be reaping the rewards via energy savings.   • Apple Values Clean Energy and Recycling

As Apple is a name renowned for bringing pioneering technologies to the market, they are less popular as a green-energy corporation. They have set their priorities to shift and have improved their efforts in making the corporation go eco-friendlier.

For instance, the corporation will be launching a mobile phone model that is completely made out of recycled materials and parts. The objective is to make products using merely recycled material or renewable resources. They came up with a recycling robot, Daisy, a new disassembly robot that is being trailed by the company and can take apart 200 iPhone in an hour to recover the usable material from each to be used in a new product.
